There is plenty of parking at Landguard Peninsula Parking, Felixstowe IP11 3TW. The John Bradfield Viewing Area is offering a stunning view. this is the main viewing point when huge ocean cruisers or big ships like the EVERGREEN arrives to England.

In addition to clothing, it’s important to pack plenty of water and high-energy snacks to keep your body fueled. A thermos filled with a warm drink can also be a welcome treat on a cold day. It’s also a good idea to bring a map, or any sort of device with online maps, walking app and a fully charged phone. There will be plenty of time to take photos.

The Felixstowe port to The Ferry Cafe and back walk is a scenic route that takes you along the Suffolk Coastal Path. The trail is well-marked and relatively flat, with a mix of paved and unpaved surfaces. You’ll pass through picturesque seaside and have the opportunity to spot local wildlife like birds.

The Ferry Cafe, located at Felixstowe Ferry, is a popular stop for walkers and serves up delicious homemade food and hot drinks. It’s a great place to take a break, warm up, and refuel before continuing on your journey.
