Shotley Peninsula

Early March walk at Shotley Peninsula between two Suffolk rivers, the Orwell and the Stour, it`s a beautiful wildelife area of Suffolk with scenic views and landscapes.

If you’re looking for a walk that will give you seaside, forest and countryside in one go, look no further, the Shotley Peninsula in Suffolk, there are several options to explore the beautiful surroundings. One popular route is a circular walk starting from Shotley, which takes you along the banks of the River Stour, offering scenic views of Harwich. You then cut through rolling farmland to Chelmondiston before following the River Orwell downstream, opposite Levington, and finally returning to Shotley. Plenty of parking space at the sea front near the pub. Also hot food and drinks served in the pub, in case you get hungry from the walk.
