Manningtree: a windy riverside walk

A breezy spring day at riverside Manningtree

Our recent outing to riverside Manningtree was a breath of fresh air on a cool, windy spring day. The picturesque riverside, adorned with blooming wildflowers and swaying grasses, felt alive under the playful gusts.

As we strolled along the banks of the River Stour, the brisk wind brought a delightful invigorating chill that heightened our senses. The views of the charming cottages and boats bobbing gently on the water were simply enchanting, offering the perfect backdrop for a day of exploration.

We stopped at a quaint café, where we warmed up with steaming cups of tea and homemade scones, all while watching the world go by. The atmosphere was relaxed, filled with laughter and the sounds of nature.

The combination of fresh air, stunning scenery, and good company made our windy spring day at Manningtree a lovely escape. It was a gentle reminder that even the coolest days can bring warmth to the heart. We’re already looking forward to our next visit specially that we just welcomed our new family wagon a Volvo V50 T5!
