A delightful day: walking from Helmingham Hall to Pettaugh and Back

Our todays walk from Helmingham Hall to Pettaugh was a wonderful blend of good food, stunning scenery, and encounters with nature that left us feeling revitalized and inspired.

We kicked off our adventure with a delightful breakfast at Wright’s, where we indulged in their renowned posh toasties. Each bite was a delicious combination of fresh ingredients, perfectly melting cheese, and hearty bread that set the tone for our day ahead. With smiles on our faces and energy to spare, we set out on our walk, eager to explore what lay beyond the hall.

Our route took us through the beautifully landscaped gardens of Helmingham Hall. Here, we stumbled upon a fascinating exhibition showcasing local artwork among the vibrant flowers and greenery. It was a lovely surprise that added an artistic flair to our nature-filled day.

As we continued on our path, we were treated to the sight of deer grazing peacefully in the distance, a reminder of the region’s natural beauty. The tranquil atmosphere was further enhanced by the nearby church, its historic architecture standing proudly against the lush backdrop.
