Windy summer day at Felixstowe

On a recent summer day, my lovely wife and I decided to make the most of the blustery weather and head to Felixstowe for a day of fun by the seaside. The wind whipped through our hair as we strolled along the promenade, but nothing could dampen our spirits.

One of our first stops was the giant wheel—a staple of the beachfront amusement rides. Climbing into one of the white cabins, we felt a wave of excitement as it slowly ascended. With each rotation, the views of the stunning coastline and the sprawling sea came into focus, offering a breathtaking panorama. From our lofty perch, we could see the waves crashing against the shore and families enjoying the beach below. The wind added an extra thrill to the ride, making it an unforgettable experience.

Their retro designs and smooth maneuvers brought a nostalgic touch to our day. After all the excitement, we felt it was time for a well-deserved coffee break. We headed to a charming local café. Despite the breezy conditions, our day in Felixstowe was filled with laughter, stunning views, and cherished memories. The combination of the giant wheel, vintage planes, and a lovely café made for a delightful summer outing.
