Orwell Country Park is home to a variety of trees, including some that may be of significant age and size.

As you venture through the park, keep an eye out for larger, more mature trees that may exhibit signs of age such as gnarled or ancient-looking bark, impressive height and girth, and a canopy that provides ample shade. These characteristics can often indicate an older tree.

While there is no specific information about a particular ancient or famous tree at Orwell Country Park, there is still one tree what looks quiet famous with its form (see pictures), the park’s woodland areas offer a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the beauty and majesty of nature.

During our visit, we took time to explore the park’s woodland trails and meander through its paths. Having my camera with me as always, managed to capture some moody photos.

We also stopped at Harbourside Kitchen, Levington Marina to take a short break and for another short walk around the coast. The food here is just another level, We had salmon bagels, carrot cakes, and some hot drinks. Food portions are generous, drinks are perfect, we can just recommend this place. Perfect stop to a weekend walk.
