A refreshing 9.8 miles stroll from Cattawade to Stutton corner and back.

Today’s walk offered a delightful escape into nature, starting from the scenic Cattawade and taking us along peaceful paths to Stutton corner and back. The weather was perfect—bright skies and gentle breezes made for an ideal outdoor adventure, although after last nights thunder storm the humidity was 87%. The air was thick and when sun start to shine was pretty hard to walk.

As we set out from Cattawade, the lake and the tranquil riverside views immediately set a calming tone. The route through lush greenery and open fields revealed glimpses of local wildlife, with songbirds serenading us along the way. Approaching Stutton corner, we enjoyed the quaint charm of the area, taking a moment to appreciate the quiet beauty of this rural spot.
The return journey was just as enjoyable, offering fresh perspectives and a chance to reflect on the simple pleasures of a countryside walk. Overall, it was a revitalizing experience that reminded us of the joys of exploring our local surroundings.
Looking forward to many more walks like today’s!
