York

A rainy summer day in York.

Today, we embarked on a charming little trip to the historic city of York, arriving by train and eager to explore. Despite the heavy rain and frequent showers—classic weather for York—we embraced the adventure with umbrellas in hand. Our walk through the city centre was filled with the sights and sounds of this enchanting place, even as the weather kept us on our toes.

One of the highlights was wandering through The Shambles, a beautifully preserved medieval street that feels like stepping back in time. We also visited York Minster, marveling at its stunning architecture, and made our way up to the tower for breathtaking views of the city, even through the mist and rain.

After a day of exploring, we wrapped up our visit by tying up a little business—picking up our new vehicle! It’s always exciting to start a new chapter, and today’s trip to York was the perfect blend of history, adventure, and new beginnings.

Despite the weather, it was a memorable day filled with charm and discovery. Looking forward to more adventures ahead!
