Rendlesham Forest

Early February walk at the popular  forest which became linked with UFO landings at early 80`s.

This forest is absolutely stunning. If I will go back in the near future, I am sure I will make different kind of photos, sadly when we been there I only had a 15 year old Samsung Galaxy Note 4, with it`s 16 Megapixel camera I could not do big thing, I hope at least I captured the misterious athmosphere what this place has.

Rendlesham Forest is a 1,500-hectare mixed woodland located in Suffolk, England. It is owned by Forestry England and offers various recreational facilities for walkers, cyclists, and campers. There is a decicated Parking location where you can buy parking tickets for your vehicles, there are clean toilets. The forest is situated in the parishes of Bromeswell, Eyke, Capel St Andrew, and Butley, and it provides a beautiful natural setting for outdoor activities and exploration.

Rendlesham Forest is also well-known for the Rendlesham Forest incident, which took place in December 1980. This incident involved a series of reported sightings of unexplained lights near Rendlesham Forest, close to the RAF Woodbridge. It became associated with alleged UFO landings and has been referred to as “Britain’s Roswell”. The events attracted significant attention and have since been the subject of much discussion and speculation. There is a UFO trail with clear signs, so you can take a walk and this will take you through that area where the alleged incidents happened.

If you are interested in further exploring the Rendlesham Forest incident and related topics, you may find additional information by searching on the internet, there are so many pages and many articles about this. These sources provide a more comprehensive overview of the incident, its history, and the ongoing investigations and debates surrounding it.

P.S: I had a perfect guide with a map so I could enjoy the walk and the natures beauty.
